Spain 2
Outside of Isabel's University, the superior technical school of architecture.
En El Retiro - we took a nice walk through the Retiro, Madrid's significantly prettier Central Park, even when under a grey winter sky.
I had remembered this statue from four years ago and had wanted to revisit it - we were lucky to run into it again out of the blue.
VIPS! All this rambling in the Retiro was really an excuse to go the the greatest (/worst) restaurant on the planet, VIPS! This was an old haunt of mine, which Caity, Kristin and I had inhabited on several delicious, pancake related missions.
Plaza de España, Don Quixote Statue
The Madrid lights
Cibeles lit
Metropolis Building
Alcalá
New Years Dinner with the family
The Spaniards eat twelve grapes at midnight, one for each sounding of the midnight bells.
Tonterías
Papá and Luis!!
